Outreach Rubbish collecting

A group of students in the Outreach Club went to a residential area out by Almazar and collected domestic rubbish from a large part of uninhabited land that the local residents were using as a waste land. Armed with gloves and bin liners, these group of students cleaned the area from 9 AM till 2 PM.

Locals came out to praise them on their efforts, offering them food and tea as a sign of their gratitude, and even some of the youngsters aided them in the clean-up. It was a humbling and environmentally educational activity which has empowered the students to ensure that they keep our school clean from rubbish and educate others on their role and responsibility to throw away rubbish in designated trash cans.
