Our ASM students showcased their creativity, resilience, and dedication at the TEDxASM conference. With the theme ‘Fail and Sail: Learning from Mistakes,’ they reminded us how failure can be a stepping stone to success.

Through inspiring talks and thought-provoking ideas, our speakers encouraged us to embrace challenges, learn, and grow. A huge congratulations to the students who organized this incredible event and to everyone who contributed to its success!

Ms. Lijia Zhang, Chinese author and journalist.

ASM was honored to welcome renowned author, journalist, columnist and China expert Ms. Lijia Zhang to our school!

Ms. Zhang spoke about her journey from Communist factory worker to celebrated author and journalist. She visited with our middle school intro class then shared her story with an assembly of grades seven through twelve. After speaking to the group, she met with a group of curious upper school students during lunch with our Head of School.
