IB Diploma Programme
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (Bac de Geneve) is coming to Marrakech!
The American School of Marrakesh is a candidate school for the Diploma Programme. ASM is pursuing authorization as an IB World School to start the program in September 2021. IB World Schools share a common philosophy- a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education- that we believe is important for our students.
Why Offer an IB Program at ASM ?
Parents choose ASM because they have high expectations for their children’s learning and wish for their children to pursue an international education. Our educational program prepares students for university studies abroad, in America, Canada, the United Kingdom as well as for several other reputable colleges and universities around the world. All ASM graduates have been accepted to a foreign university of their choice.
Being a highly regarded credential in the entire world, introducing the IB Diploma Programme at ASM will further diversify student choices with regards to universities as well as disciplines of study. In addition, being an international American school, with deep beliefs in open-mindedness, equity and inclusive education, ASM finds the IB Diploma Programme to be an enriching program for our student population. The IB Core (Creativity, Action and Service; Theory of Knowledge; and the Extended Essay) prepare students to become critical thinkers, problem-solvers, global citizens, caring leaders, and lifelong learners.
