ASM hosted its second accreditation inspection visit by the Middle States Association (MSA) the week of November 14th – 17th.
We are happy to share that in the Visiting Team’s Oral Report, ASM was recommended for full reaccreditation, 2023-2030.

Official inauguration of the American School of Marrakesh unique outdoor classroom! A place for exploration, discovery, curiosity, critical thinking, and kindness!
The American School of Marrakesh is pleased to announce the grand opening of its newly created Outdoor Classroom–an expansive multi-age and multi-use learning space of 3,000 m2 that represents the latest research in play-based education and celebrates traditional Moroccan aesthetic and architectural features.
The opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022, from 12:30 – 1:30 pm.

Six highly ranked US institutions from the Education City in Doha, Qatar visited the The American School of Marrakesh on Friday, September 30th. Wonderful opportunity to network and chat with university admission counselors.
ASM is excited to continue providing transformative educational opportunities for students and staff with a multi-day visit by Nature Explore to co-create an expansive research-based outdoor classroom unique in Morocco.
The outdoor learning space will be co-designed next week by a team from US-based Nature Explore, who will lead two half-day workshops with ASM Lower School instructional staff and administration with input from students as well. The delegation’s visit to ASM demonstrates our community’s continuing commitment to innovation, growth, and renewal driven by a future-focused mission centered on student learning, leadership, and achievement.
