Grade 11 students had an enriching and educational experience on our Group 4 Collaborative Science Project trip to Ourika. As part of our IBDP curriculum at ASM, students collected water samples, studied the regionโs biodiversity, and analyzed soil samples at Dar Ikalimo. This hands-on fieldwork provided invaluable insights into the local ecosystem.
Unstoppable on the Court! Our middle school basketball teams brought their A-game to the Masac Tournament at American Academy Casablanca (AAC), showing off their incredible skills and teamwork. Way to go, champions!
ASM had a wonderful Moroccan Day today
A day that is focussed on Moroccan culture, values, cultural performances, vibes, and traditions. Thank you also to all the LS Arabic teachers for all their hard work in organizing the event today and to the PTO for their continued support for our LS events!
Grade 5 Marketplace – which was the culmination of the Unit of Inquiry on โHow We Organize Ourselvesโ looking at production and exchanging goods and services.
Grade 5 raised a staggering $1223 for Global Giving, a very notable charity that works with communities across the world at grassroots level. They support various projects here in Morocco too.
Proud of the G5 team and students!
The American School of Marrakech Parent Teacher Association (PTO) organised a community wide Iftour at the Oberoi Marrakech. Our special invitee for the evening was U.S. Consule Gรฉnรฉrale to Morocco Marissa D. Scott. The Iftour was attended by more than 300 people from the community – students, teachers, parents, administrators, alumni, Board Members, dignatories of the Moroccan Government, and representatives of the U.S. Government.
World Languages Week – our โGates of Marrakech, Jemaa El Fnaโ themed week ! From exhibition and presentation of the gates to theatre plays, games, and performances in French, Arabic, and Spanish.
Grade 3 students, our young explorers, grabbed their crayons and colored in their maps, marking their home countries and the places they dream of visiting!
Our Grade 2 students amazed us with their presentations and knowledge of โCountries and Culturesโ! Big thanks to our awesome Grade 2 team and World Languages team for this fruitful week.
Grade 4โs trip to the Museum of Confluences! Learning about history and science together. [
Book Week Highlights: World Book Day Assembly for our KG & LS students – dressed up in homemade, eco-friendly costumes and that stole the show.
